Returns & Refund Policy

At Essex Packaging Shop, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a clear and fair return and refund process in accordance with UK consumer law.

Your Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing via email within the 14-day period. Once we have been informed, you then have 14 days to return the goods.

Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unused, unopened, and in resalable condition.
Items must be returned in the original packaging.
You must include a copy of the original invoice or order confirmation.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

Custom-cut, bespoke, or made-to-order items
Products marked as non-returnable or clearance/final sale
Items that have been opened or used, unless faulty

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or is faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will provide a replacement, exchange, or full refund upon inspection and confirmation.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email regarding the status of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Shipping costs are refundable only if the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.

Return Shipping

If you are returning an item due to change of mind, you are responsible for return postage.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing insurance, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your return.
